What size leg fits the brace?

12.5 inches to 18 inches. The Velcro adheres to the neoprene well past the velcro base. It is worn right below the knee. The “R” on top for the right leg, the L on top on the Left leg.

What is the difference between the “Regular” and the “Premium or Deluxe” Be Active™ Brace?

The “Premium” is made of a more durable neoprene fabric with small ventilation holes in the fabric for more comfort.

What is the BeActive™ made of?

80% Neoprene and 20% Polyester. If you are allergic to neoprene, do not wear this and discontinue use.

What makes the BeActive™ Work?

The brace itself does not provide the relief. It is the pressure cushion pressing on the “correct” point on the outer part of the calf muscle. We call it “5 o’clock” on the right leg or “7 o’clock” on the left as seen in the commercial on the website. When you apply the brace, it is most important to adjust the brace to get the cushion on the “correct” spot.

How long do I wear the BeActive™?

As long as you want pain relief. The brace is not a cure. You need to be applying the pressure to the correct point on the outer muscle of the calf to get relief. Initially do not wear for more than 2 hours, to get used to it, then wear as long as you feel comfortable.

I ordered a set in first week of July. After not receiving the product, I called and was told the product was on “back-order”. As of this date, I have still not got this item. Also, I never got any correspondence from this company concerning the delay. Got any suggestions?

    • Mine took about three weeks to get to me. Maybe a little longer than that even. When exactly did you purchase them? It says on their website that they ship within 30 days of purchase, so it may just take a little longer to arrive. If it takes longer then that, I would call Customer Service again.

They were definitely worth the wait for me though, and I hope that you are just as happy with your purchase when you do receive your braces!

I ordered my brace back at the beginning of September and still have not received it. Hoping I didn’t get scammed by this company. It’s been a full 5 weeks and still nothing. Anyone else having the same problem? I’m telling my friends to stay away because of this issue. They were waiting for me to get mine to let them know how it worked.

      Hey Jeremy,

A TON of people have experienced the same issue. You will get it I’m sure, but you could always contact customer service for an update. You could also just cancel your order. The BeActive Brace is available in stores and you can buy it there instead. I am positive that Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond carry it, but not sure about where else.

I bought mine online and waited a little while for it.

I ordered one a month ago and it still hasn’t come. I can’t reach them by phone….put on hold with music. This could be a sham.

It’s no sham. I ordered a brace just like you and received it, it just took forever. They are on backorder so you may be waiting a little while longer. If you don’t want to wait any longer then just cancel your order and buy it at Walmart, Target, or Bed Bath and Beyond.

I ordered Oct 1 two premere braces. I got a call that they were on the way! No letter, from you, and I called your merry-go-round business phone..referred to another number. All 5 times the phone was disconnected. I’m concerned about your business? So I’m trying once more before I report you to Better Business. You are still putting your ads on T.V. so do you have a business or is this a fraud? My mailing addresss is 1233 Wamego Trail, Yucca Valley, CA 92284. I just retired from 20 years from Sheriffr’s Dept. So I know my legal rights..Please horner this request and send my braces.

Sorry that has happened to you, but this is just a blog, I can not help you at all with order status. I waited a long time for my brace as well. Did you know that you could also purchase the regular brace in stores? Maybe you could cancel and do that.

BeActive does have a real business, the braces are just on backorder currently.

Haven’t heard of this happening to any one else. Very strange. Maybe you could place something in between the brace and your leg to cushion and protect your skin better.

Will brace work in water? Can I wear it surfing, sailing, diving, etc.??

    • gblogs on January 5, 2015 at 4:55 pm said:

I don’t see why the BeActive Brace wouldn’t work in the water. I’d imagine that it would make your water sports a lot more enjoyable and more pain-free.

However, I don’t think the BeActive Brace is waterproof. There are waterproofing sprays out there though that you can use to fix that.
